Basically the guy who ordered the equipment is super busy and hasn't been back by to hook it all up.As with all StudioLive mixers, the 16.0.2 USB comes with a suite of tightly integrated recording, control, and audio analysis software. I'm a computer tech and part time musician so that's how I got this gig. Which adapter is it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is supposed to be a recording studio in a local community center, but we can't seem to figure this out. Download a ds emulator and play games for macThe no name says that it is bilingual, written on both connectors. However it does show the adapter under the "Thunderbolt" tab of the System Profile when it is connected to the iMac and the SL is connected to the adapter.I know we tried the adapter on another MacBook Pro (brand new) to the same avail. They have 2 cables, a Gigabit cable and a no-name cable (or at least there was no name printed on the cable to indicate otherwise). Maybe something else to check?I can't be 100% that the adapter is working perfectly. If its an off brand maybe that is the answer. On any type of adapter/cable, it is important that they are bilingual. Alvin and the chipmunks 720p tamilrockersDoing mostly churches and religious events and have / work with Presonus AI and the new AI speakers, etc. So I'm assuming that it is this adapter, which appears to be the Apple brand: Hi, new subscriber, but with Presonus for years - we're a small "hobby" sound co. Neither of the cables work for long when using the adapter. Are there more than one type of adapter? (There's appears to be the one made by apple.) Has Apple released another one for Thunderbolt II? I'm wondering if maybe the adapter is too old (does that even make sense)?EDIT: All of the equipment was ordered from Sweetwater (although I did not see the Mac listed on the order sheet). UC starts right and /does/ control the board (select a channel in UC, that channel lights up on mixer) - but no amount of tweaking/button pushing would make the board output any music - or show input levels etc. We had SMAART running, doing some first EQ (by ear), etc.Came back two days later and nothing works - "proper" boot order (1:mixer, 2:iMac) didn't help. First go - it worked out of the box! UC popped up, Cap2 recorded out of the box. We have a new large 27" iMac and had to get the Apple TB - FW800 adapter. One of our guys has the RM (on hand) and is waiting for his CS (on order). However, my small church was just gifted an older 16.4.2 (SL). Worry we'll have to get another computer just to run UC/S1 and deal with that not hateful, but small church = small budget. Will try that tomorrow. Thanks - SO GLAD to finally have one at my church, UC with iP control will be great!I'm also worried once we get UC working (again) that we might still have issues since this particular iMac (well, it's the only one we have is already connecting via wifi to our ISP. Then after I left the church this AM saw more shared by my co-worker wrt toggling the FW ID and/or Sample Rate. Unplug the FW from the back of the 16.4.2, a few blinks and the mixer is live with inputs/outputs blaring.I've read some posts about the aforementioned boot order (tried, failed).
